Since it first w3ent on the air
in 1954, WCBL-AM has kept consistent with its popularity among
listeners in the Kentucky Lake Area. Many listeners in
and outside of Marshall County grew up listening tot eh
5,000-watt AM that has continued to provide the lakes area
with the latest weather information, up to the minute news,
and coupled with the FM, the best sports coverage of anyone.
Enjoying the popularity of Country music, WCBL-AM still
supplies its listeners with local announcers, local
information, and local programs like the very popular Swap
Shop. As a 15-minute call-in show that airs twice daily
Monday through Friday with a 55-minute program on Saturday.
Swap Shop is radio's version of the classifieds. Bargain
Line on Saturday mornings provides listeners with the
opportunity to save money by calling in and bidding on
valuable certificates from local businesses auction style. |
